Heading ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ Bani ਸੁਨਹੁ ਬਿਨੰਤੀ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਮੇਰੇ  ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਧਾਰੇ ॥ ਰਾਖੁ ਪੈਜ ਨਾਮ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਕੀ  ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨਹਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ  ਖਸਮਾਨਾ ਕਰਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥ ਬੁਰੇ ਭਲੇ ਹਮ ਥਾਰੇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਸੁਣੀ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਸਮਰਥ ਸੁਆਮੀ  ਬੰਧਨ ਕਾਟਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥ ਪਹਿਰਿ ਸਿਰਪਾਉ ਸੇਵਕ ਜਨ ਮੇਲੇ  ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਪਹਾਰੇ ॥੨॥੨੯॥੯੩॥ ਅੰਗ-੬੩੧ Punjabi Meaning ਸੋਰਠਿ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹੀ। ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣ, ਹੇ ਮੈਂਡੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਤੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ-ਪੰਛੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਰਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਕਰਾਵਣ ਵਾਲੇ! ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਲੱਜਿਆ ਰੱਖ। ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਿੱਜ ਦਾ ਬਣਾ ਲੈ। ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੰਦਾ ਜਾਂ ਚੰਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਹਾਂ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ। ਸਰਬ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਵਾਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਬੇੜਆਂ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਾਰ ਸ਼ਿੰਗਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਦਾ ਪੁਸ਼ਾਕਾ ਪਹਿਨਾਇਆ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੋਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। English Meaning Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl: Hear my prayer, O my Lord and Master; all beings and creatures were created by You.
